As per the vice-Chancellors of the universities interested in taking joint university admission measures, the admission notification of the cluster system will be published as soon as the coronavirus situation improves. This system is also subject to publication of HSC results as students will need a certain GPA in SSC and HSC to apply for admission.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since agricultural universities are giving bunch admission tests from previous sessions, we are omitting them here.\u00a0Others will make the combined admission system more moderate.\u00a0So far, universities will be divided into three clusters based on their type.\u00a0Here are the clusters you need to see in the notification.<\/span><\/p>\n

General Public University, University of Science and Technology<\/span><\/li>\n
University of Engineering<\/span><\/li>\n
Agricultural University<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The combined university admission system<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n
A total of five examinations will be held in the combined university admission system.\u00a0Three for General Public University and University of Science and Technology (Science, Humanities and Business Studies), one for Engineering University and one for Agricultural University.\u00a0This uniform process will reduce a lot of hassle for students and parents.<\/span><\/p>\n
Examinations will be held based on HSC syllabus, and ICT will be a common subject for each group. Candidates need to answer 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) on various subjects where some subjects will be compulsory, and some other options will be optional.<\/span><\/p>\n
A merit list will be prepared to evaluate the candidates.\u00a0Once the results are published, the universities can individually determine the minimum number required for admission, and this may vary from one university to another.<\/span><\/p>\n
Those who have passed HSC in 2019 or 2020 will be able to apply for combined university admission. Still, it will depend on the universities to consider eligible candidates who have passed HSC in 2019, which will be valid in their admission notification. Also, universities will decide individually how much GPA they are considering in SSC and HSC exams.\u00a0A required minimum GPA cluster system has been declared eligible for the admission test, which we will discuss in the next section.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eligibility barriers for the combined university admissions system have been made uniform for all universities in this process this year.\u00a0They will need a certain minimum GPA to apply for admission.\u00a0For your convenience, we’ve listed the minimum GPA required for the various groups below.<\/span><\/p>\n

A total of minimum 00.00 GPA is required in SSC and HSC for science group students.<\/span><\/li>\n
Business Studies Group Students, Total Minimum GPA required in SSC and HSC of<\/span><\/li>\n
A total of minimum 00.00 GPA is required in SSC and HSC for students of humanities group.<\/span><\/li>\n
Candidates in each group must have a GPA of less than 3.00 in either of these two exams and will not be eligible for admission.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
How to apply online?<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n
The application process is still quite foggy as separate admission notifications from universities are not yet live.\u00a0However, we assume that the process will be the same for all universities.\u00a0So, here is a quick review of the application process that you may need to follow.<\/span><\/p>\n

Go to the university website or any individual website for the combined university admission system mentioned in the notification.<\/span><\/li>\n
Click Apply to start the process.<\/span><\/li>\n
Fill in all required information like Roll No. \/ Reg No., Name of SSC and HSC Boards, Year of Examination, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n
If everything is OK, click the submit button.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Admission card and other details regarding admission results will also be updated here as soon as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n
Distribution of admission test marks<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n
It is important to know the distribution of admission marks in the combined university to help the candidates prepare according to their group and individual strength. There will be a complete breakdown of the distribution of marks in the cluster system’s admission test.<\/span><\/p>\n
Science Group<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
Science group examinees need to answer four compulsory subjects, the numbers of which are as follows.<\/span><\/p>\n
